Who you talk to and what to ask

How Our Network Works for Homeowners

A tidy stucco ranch home in San Jacinto with a freshly finished roof under a clear sky

Who you actually talk to

When you reach out through Endingfeed Roofing, you are connected with an independent local roofing provider. That is a real business in your region, with its own staff and its own way of doing things. It is not a call center that does roofing, and it is not a single company with one set of rules.

On the phone, you will usually speak with someone from the provider's office or an estimator. They will ask about your home and your roof. Their questions are meant to help them understand the job.

What the first conversation looks like

Expect it to be simple and unhurried. A provider may ask:

  • Where is your home, and about how old is the roof?
  • What do you see: stains, missing pieces, drips, sagging?
  • Did something happen recently, like a storm or heavy rain?
  • Is anything leaking into the house right now?

If there is active water coming in, say so. Many providers can respond quickly to urgent cases, though call hours and timing vary. Request a callback to check provider availability.

Questions worth asking a provider

You do not need to know roofing to ask good questions. Try these:

  • Are you licensed and insured in California? Can I see proof?
  • What do you think is wrong, and how can you tell?
  • Would you patch it, or replace it? Why?
  • What materials do you suggest for our climate?
  • Will I get the quote in writing, with the scope spelled out?
  • How long will the work likely take, and what could change it?
  • Who handles cleanup afterward?

Write down the answers. If two providers say different things, ask each to explain. That is how you learn.

You stay in control

Talking to a provider does not lock you into anything. You can ask for an estimate, think it over, get another opinion, and say no. Nobody should rush you into signing.

If your roof was hit by wind or hail, you may also want to read your policy. Some policies may cover sudden damage. Providers can often help document damage for a claim, but your insurer makes the decision.
